My Experience With Revlon Photoready kajal 001

Packaging– Revlon Photoready kajal oo1 is a double sided wood eye liner and these were launched in a number of shades. I got Revlon Photoready kajal oo1 “Carbon Cleopatra”.

Texture– It has a nice pigmented shade on one side and the eye brightener on the other. I had the Lakme white eyeconic (Read about Lakme Eyeconic Grey HERE ) but still I bought the Photoready kajal oo1 which has a black shade and another white! Want to try another variant with a n*de shade too.

Photoready kajal 001 is a nice creamy kajal and glides on the lower lash line easily. Since it’s not the best smooth texture it tugs a little on the upper lash line but nothing that would bother you much!

It can be used as a thin kajal or an eye shadow base as well to create Smokey look of course! It has a nice smudging texture that would allow you to play with different types of looks like the Smokey look as I mentioned before.

Shade- The black Photoready kajal 001 looks quite black in color and the white is pure white shade! I am happy with the color payoff 🙂

Staying power– Photoready kajal oo1 stays on me for 3-4 hours.

Turn On: Revlon Photoready kajal oo1

1)    I liked that the caps are colored that makes it easy to identity.

2)    It’s creamy.

3)    The brightener didn’t irritate my eyes.

4)    The white in it did make my eyes open a bit.

5)    Both the shades go well with each other without looking weird on my eyes! lol

Turn Off: Revlon Photoready kajal oo1

1)    It tugs a little on the upper lash line.

2)    It doesn’t have smoothest texture but the formula is good for smudging.

3)    I thought that it would stay a bit longer!  It stays for less than 3 hours on me as an eye liner and 3-4 hours as a kajal  🙁

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I like the way this wood pencil looks on my eyes. The staying power is average but the colors didn’t irritate my eyes. Wanted it to be a little creamier.
