Kosmoderma skin and hair clinic Review medical Clean Up With Exfoliating Treatment experience

Hello ladies, here I am discussing about my experience at Kosmoderma. This post is about Kosmoderma skin and hair clinic review and the medical Clean Up With Exfoliating Treatment that they gave me.

Kosmoderma Clinics are dedicated to medical excellence in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology with international accreditation and facilities. They have branches in Bangalore and Chennai. Also, they have Bride and Groom Packages. In addition to this, do not forget to check their packages for laser treatments as well. They provide it in their Bangalore and Chennai centres.

Recently, I was invited by Kosmoderma to have an experiential. As I have matured and acne prone skin I didn’t think twice to at least go and consult the doctors there. As I reached I was greeted by the friendly staff.

They gave me a 2-page form that I had to fill. The form contains all the information about yourself like your name, address, age, your skin conditions. Any medical history, treatments in the past, etc.

After filing the form, I was directed to Doctor Neha.

Dr. Neha, is very friendly and listens to your concerns patiently. She then asked me what exactly I am looking for and after listening to my concerns, she advised me to go for certain treatments that are discussed below in detail.

So, as I said earlier in the post above, I have mature skin. In addition to this my skin is prone to acne. Also, I have oily and sensitive skin. Moreover, pores are also another concern that I need to take care of! Gosh so many difficulties! (Lol) all in all I am tackling post pregnancy beauty concerns.

I asked Dr. Neha, if I can get rid of acne and if something can be done about the pores that just sit right there on my face! I want a smooth skin and want to get rid of little bit tanning that happens every month.

“Of course, I have a lot of skin problems and I am aware that I am asking for a lot”, I told Dr. Neha.

She smiles and starts writing on the consultation paper about the treatments, while I wait with baited breath.

After examining my skin under a magnifying glass, she explained me the current situation of my face skin. She could see pigmentation, tanning, small spots, uneven skin tone, acne, pores etc. In addition to this I have thick hair on my jawline, upper lips and lower lips with very thick hair on chin!

They suggested a number of things to get rid of pigmentation and pores, including a laser treatment for the unwanted hair on my face.

I was there for an experiential and I was advised to go for a medical clean up with exfoliating treatment.

I have sensitive skin and honestly, I was scared to undergo any medical clean uo with exfoliating treatment. I was assured that nothing will happen and a patch test will be done to see if it suits my skin or not.

Anyways, I started the treatment with the therapist.

After taking few pictures of my face skin through their 3D facial analysis machine, I was directed to the room where the experiential began. Taking the pictures is necessary step as on the second(next) visit the doctors can compare the pictures and see if the person undergoing the prescribed treatment is benefitting or not.

I think this step is very crucial because the moment they realise that a particular treatment is not working, the doctors then would prescribe an alternate or additional service to the person who is undergoing any treatment.

Medical clean up with exfoliating treatment is done by a well experienced therapist.

The room was tidy and well-lit. The therapist was friendly too and at each step she did tell me what she is applying on my skin. Yes, it was a relief.

First the cleansing was done and then through a machine the skin was exfoliated. That machine makes a little noise. It had this tube kind of thing that was pulling my skin. Do not be afraid, that’s how it works and this way it removes the dead skin. For people with normal skin the therapist does 2-3 rounds, however, as I have sensitive skin she did it only once. I experienced no pain during this process.

Ladies, you won’t believe I had a mole like acne on my nose. I took numerous facials before but none could get rid of that dead looking like mole on my nose. “As the therapist was working on it I told her that it wont go.

It’s gone, she said!”

I was surprised as I thought I have to live with that thing now. But to my surprise through this medical clean-up with exfoliating treatment it got removed! This was a good sign and I was happy.

After the removal of dead skin, steam is giving and the therapist works on the face with the blackhead remover tool like any other facial.  Then the rest of the treatment continued, where the chemical peel mask was applied. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes and then the mask was removed.

The overall treatment took 45 minutes. I have sensitive skin but didn’t find my face in any weird condition. It was normal just a bit red but nothing too over the top. I experienced a little bit of itching during the treatment but I was told that it is normal. You can read more about their chemical peels here.

I am also given a face wash and a detan body lotion which I shall review separately in another post.

My overall experience was good with Kosmoderma skin and hair clinic. Honestly, just one sitting is not enough to say much about the results. However, I did see a bit of a difference in my skin because the dead skin is now no more after exfoliation through chemical peel. Next day I did receive a call from them as they always ensure with the customers if everything is fine. I did experience breakouts as well though not too much, but I was informed earlier that it happens because dead skin gets removed. Breakouts settle in 2-4 days.

I would love to take the other services prescribed to me, specially the laser treatment. They offer competitive price for the laser treatment and I might go back there soon!
