Hey Everyone,

Pigmentation is one skin problem most of us struggle with, reasons could be ageing, sun damage, hormonal issues etc. there are many products available with hefty claims but only a few of them work actually. The Iraya Jirakadi Lepa is a depigmentation recipe which claims to reduce pigmentation, lets see weather or not it lives up to its claims.

About Iraya Depigmentation Recipe Jirakadi Lepa :
Iraya’s 100% natural remedy for depigmentation- Jirakadi Lepa is taken from the Bhavprakash Nigantu, an ancient Ayurveda treatise. Cumin seeds, black mustard, black sesame and Krishna Jeera together help remove blemishes, scars & black spots. The lepa lightens pigmentation & improves the skin’s surface texture & overall appearance.

My Experience With The Iraya Depigmentation Recipe Jirakadi Lepa :

This magical treatment comes in a heavy glass jar with a silver lid, which is practical enough looking at the consistency of the pack, it’s thick and cannot be squeezed out of the tube easily. If you have hygiene issues, use a spatula to scoop out this depigmentation recipe.
The pack is somewhat black in colour and when you spread it on the hand, you can easily see the cumin because the ingredients are not finely milled. The pack has to be mixed with milk after which it becomes perfect in consistency and can be easily applied on the face. It smells strongly of cumin and sesame which can bother sensitive noses.
The worst part for me at least is that this depigmentation recipe has to be applied for an hour and at a frequency of every Alternate day which made me think for a long time before using it but I am glad that I finally got motivated ( because my cousin raved a lot about the results).
For me the first three uses did not show too much of a difference but after that I saw the pigmentation lightening and the skin started looking more even.
It irritates for around 10 minutes after application but does not cause any rash or breakout.

  1. I haven’t found any WOW products in Iraya yet. I’m so on the fence about the 2 that I have tried. This one leaves me confused as well.
