Click…clickety…click…click …click!!! Wondering what I am doing? I am struggling with my Mac lip glass stain so that the gloss comes out. Review time…!!! Today I will be reviewing a lip glass from Mac in a shade which is difficult to describe and impossible to photograph, but I will try my level best to get you to the virtual tour. Its about Mac Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint In Glorious Intent!

WHAT THE PRODUCT ‘Mac Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint In Glorious Intent’ CLAIMS: High shine, creamy lightweight formula tints lips with long-wearing color. PH pigments work with the body’s natural temperature for fresh, custom color. Features clickable, pen-style brush applicator, tint glides on effortlessly.

SHADE DESCRIPTION: Glorious intent is a warm plum shade as described by Mac. It is basically a deep berry pink I would say.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH MAC SHEEN SUPREME LIP GLASS TINT IN GLORIOUS INTENT

To give you a fair idea, these lip glass tints are a glorified version of Mac lip glasses, these being less sticky and more pigmented (slightly). The gloss comes in a click type pen, which looks cute but is difficult to use because I have to twist the pen so many times to get the product to the brush. I generally overdo the twisting bit and then suddenly a lot of product gushes out. This process ends up wasting a lot of product and time but yeah now I have got the hang of it …FINALLY!!!! After wasting almost half of the gloss 🙁

Talking about the brighter things, the brush is very soft and manages to do a good job in applying the lip-gloss. I like it because it’s a relief from the usual doe foot applicators. These seem more professional. The gloss as already mentioned is sticky but less than the regular lip glasses. They glide smoothly and evenly to give a beautiful shiny pout. The shine stays for 1.5 hours after which it just leaves the color behind. The color stays for another hour or so leaving a soft stain on the lips. These lip glasses are hydrating as well so yes that’s a plus point.

The color glorious intent is a warm plum shade which will suit almost all skin tones except the very dark ones. It’s difficult to describe it accurately because it changes shade according to various factors like skin tone, pigmentation of lips (since they are sheer) and temperature of the body ( as Mac says). One problem that I see with this shade (I don’t know with other shades as I haven’t tried them) that it bleeds slightly when applied heavily. I generally use very less amount of the gloss and spread it across the lips, that ways the problem of bleeding is not encountered plus I get a lighter shade which has a little lesser wear time but comes out beautifully on the lips. The fragrance is the usual vanilla.

COSMOCHICS RATING: 4/5

INFO ON SILVER PLATTER: If you like the lip glasses then you will love these (if you can ignore the bleeding part). These pens look uber cool in the clutches but I personally feel I can buy something less cumbersome in 1.5 grand.
