How to Dress Smart Casual With Jeans: Plaid & Denim Casual Outfit Post

My last outfit post, the one that I did in collaboration with Max garnered a lot of compliments!

Thank you all for your feedback and appreciation. Teaming –up again with Max here I present another style – “girl next door” look with a twist!

I think of fashion- as my personal style; style in which I am comfortable. I want to be in something that easily grants the oomph that is required to uplift an outfit. Not forgetting that I am still depicting my personality. For me, it definitely doesn’t have to be bright and loud all the time.

You can go on a luncheon date with friends and yet look stylish! You can be in your normal shorts & slippers and pick up a stylish tote to add a distinguishing style to the look.

The ways are numerous and you just have to pick the right ones from the innumerable choices!

Here I am with two items. It’s a plaid shirt with buttoned cuffs and a pair of denim jeans. A casual Outfit 🙂

To break the meaning in simple terms, plaid is a check pattern. It can be styled during summers as well as during the winters. Yes the color for me would change. I like to wear a light color plaid shirts in summers and keep dark ones for the winters. But hey! No rules! And you really don’t have to run to the market to get a new shirt!

Bangalore doesn’t see winters, but the places where the temperature goes down… this look can be styled in various ways. Like I personally would love to wear a denim jacket on it and would swap the heels with my boots!

And do I really need to say anything about “DENIMS”? My love for denims is not a secret anymore. I have denims in black, blue and white and still would love to lay my hands on more! I just can’t fall out of love!
