Hey Everyone,

Beach waves equals sexy …..do I need to say more? I have fine wavy hair and to add more information to this, I have got them smoothened twice (read ruined them) but this was I think a year and a half back, so practically the smoothening has said bye bye leaving me with slight waves and about two inches of straightened ends ( which looks arrrrggg!!!!). L’Oreal Professionnel has come up with a texturizing salt spray which promises to give you those lovely soft curls with a matte effect that you normally get when your hair is wet from the salty water and then dried in the wind.

A ground-breaking formula and a delicate fragrance make the application quicker and more pleasant. At home, the new Tecni.ART Beach Waves spray –a texturizing salt spray to be used all over the hair-, enhances the “beachy” style and helps set the waves.”

My Experience With The L’Oreal Professionnel Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray :

This salt water comes in a plastic bottle with a spray nozzle. There is a small lock between the cap and the nozzle preventing the product to leak while travelling. The nozzle is great as it spritz out fine mist of product hence avoiding over usage, however the plastic of the nozzle feels cheap. While I was fiddling with the lock and spray, I felt that it would bend and break. Anyway nothing of that sorts happened so lets proceed further.

The L’Oreal Professionnel Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray smells of some oil to me, I dunno which one though. I didn’t like it personally and to annoy me further it stays there until the next head bath.

So what I did was, washed my hair, combed through with a wide tooth comb and sprayed this texturizing salt water onto my damp hair.I twirled my hair with fingers taking them section by section randomly and scrunched. After my hair was semi-dry,I again scrunched them, brought them together and tied with a hair net to let them air dry (you can use a hair dryer if you wish to). After a while when I let my hair loose, to my surprise I got that whole beach waves thing right!!!!

The L’Oreal Professionnel Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray provides volume and curly textured look to my limp hair without the use of heat. Its amazing to see how the curls last until the next hair wash though they loosen up with time. The product gives a matte finish. It does not give a parched or crisp feeling to the hair.Might feel a bit drying to those with dry hair but hey, its salt spray after all.

I even use it after curling my hair with a curling rod to get those perfect loose curls that stay for a long time.

The only gripe that I have is the smell but thats again just a personal take, some might like it.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”

I have very fine hair that generally respond well to styling. This product has worked really well for me but I can’t comment on how it would work on people with thick and heavy hair. The result might vary for people who have the kinda hair type which does not hold styling for a long time and fall back to its natural texture.

The ones with very dry frizzy hair type might also not like this spray but thats just what I feel after using L’Oreal Professionnel Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray, not sure about it though.

WE LOVE TO HEAR FROM OUR READERS
