Quick and Easy Manicure at home

Hey girls, while standing at the beauty store and staring at all the prettiness around, I saw this manicure kit and bought it home…just because it was cute. I am not the one who is happy doing her own Mani but a woman should always be ready …what if there a sudden  emergency and you can’t make it to the spa!!  (Okay…yeah, I know, I was just finding a valid reason for my purchase)

You know what…I thought of giving this a try and found out that it’s pretty simple and can be done in 30 minutes. So let’s see how to do your own Manicure at home and the best part of it is that you can use your favorite products that actually work for you!!!!

 Things you will need:

-A bowl of warm water

-A mild shampoo

-cuticle cream

-nail polish remover

-cuticle pusher

-cuticle nipper

-nail clipper

-nail file

-scrub

-hand and nail cream

Nail polish

HOW TO DO A MANICURE AT HOME:

Step 1: Remove any nail polish (use acetone free nail polish remover) from your nails. Cover the cuticles with a cuticle cream and soak your hands in warm water mixed with some shampoo. You can even add some essential oil to relax your senses. Do this for 10-15 minutes. This step will soften the cuticles and loosen any dirt present underneath the nails.

Step 2: Apply a cuticle cream to prevent any infections.

Step 3:  Push the cuticles back with the pusher. Do this gently and don’t go overboard as you can end up damaging the soft skin along the bottom of your nail beds, resulting in infections.

Step 4: file your nails in the desired shape.

Step 5: File in one direction; don’t use to and fro motion.

Step 6: With a nipper, remove the dead skin near the corners of the nails. Take care of the cuticles as well. Again be gentle.
