My Experience With Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner is a highly rated product on Nykaa.com. There are times when I read reviews from Nykaa and buy the products. Such was the case with this toner as well. I was exhausted trying different methods to treat  pores and, in the search, to find perfect product I bought the “Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner”.

This toner comes in a sturdy plastic bottle. I like the packaging as it is fuss free and the product looks good in the bottle. However as soon as I remove the cap and another tight opening, I can smell the alcohol in the toner. In addition to this the smell is so strong that even after one month the smell is strong enough to make me cough each time! I mean it is still strong after 1 month! Whoa!

Moreover, shaking the bottle before every use is recommended. I didn’t face any volcanic ash looking residue on my skin. But, you may experience it if the you do not shake the bottle well. Once I didn’t shake it well and could see some greyish like residue on face. But it was only once. The lotion itself is very light.

Now let’s talk about this toner. Okay, the first use itself made me in love with this toner. The first use itself made the pores look bit smaller. I was amazed to see the results. How can a product work in just one use? Maybe the mineral powder in it helped to treat the pores from first use itself? Maybe.

After using the “Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner” for a month, I do feel that it controls excessive sebum to keep my skin looking fresh and soft. Furthermore, it helps in removing the left-over residue on face after washing the face with a facewash. Regular use did make my skin brighter and the oil is at bay for around 3 hours. I have oily acne prone sensitive skin and Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner didn’t cause any breakouts. Texture of the skin improves but do not expect overnight and great results.

But it won’t cure your acne. So, the work on acne is a bit slow. It controls sebum and makes your skin bright with making the pores look small just after you apply the toner. That’s it!

However, after some time maybe after 2 hours my pores size look the same 🙁 In addition to this the toner just shrinks the pores and does not treat it. If you know the difference. So just after I apply the toner the pores are shrunk but few hours later the pores are back to normal size. I am not really sure if the existing pores are treated or not as the size is the same as before a month. I will keep on using it to see if it really treat pores or not. Ingredients picture below.

Turn on: Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner

1)    It will shrink the pores for some time.

2)    It helps keeping the oil at bay.

3)    The quantity given in bottle is good enough to use for months!

4)    The toner helps make the skin clean and bright.

5)    Absorbs excessive sebum

6)    Makes skin soft but nothing out of the world result.

Turn Off: Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner

1)    The smell of alcohol is too strong.

2)    It does not treat pores just shrinks them.

3)    It may be expensive for few and I personally think that the brand should come up with smaller bottle versions too.

Info On A Silver Platter: “I am liking this toner as it gives instant results. Furthermore,  I shall keep using it to see if it treats my pores or not”
