Fabindia Vitamin E Sunscreen Spf-45: Review & Swatches

Today I will be talking about a sunscreen from my best-loved brand fabindia, but before that let us consider by talking over, as to why it is important to use a sunscreen.

HARFUL EFFECTS OF THE SUN-
-UV exposure thickening and thinning of skin. Thickening happens in areas like the back of the neck forming coarse wrinkles and thinning results in fine lines on face.
-causes bruising and tearing
-sunburns
-skin darkening
-freckles, pigmentation, white spots
-formation of moles and bumps
-skin cancer

WHY SHOULD WE USE A SUNSCREEN?
If you spend long hours outdoors then you should always protect your skin with a good sunscreen to form a barrier over your skin and protect it from the above said damages. It is also advised to use sunblock even while indoors.

WHAT IS SPF? It is sun protection factor. Sunrays have UVA and UVB.

About 93% of UVB rays are filtered by SPF of 15 and 97% of UVB rays are filtered with SPF 30. We should apply sunscreen 30 minutes prior to stepping out in the sun. Sunscreen can provide protection but it cannot block all UV rays. Therefore we cannot replace sunscreen with other protective measures. I usually avoid going outdoor between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (peak hours) because sun rays are strongest at this time. I also cover up with a stole when going out. It is suggested to use sunscreen and reapply frequently.

-Skin type
-check the ingredients for irritants
-SPF, it should be higher than 15
-UVA protection. UVA penetrates deep into your skin causing wrinkles.
-water and sweat resistance.

To protect yourself from UVA, You should look for one of the following in the list below.
Ecamsul, Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, Titanium dioxide, sulisobenzone, or zinc oxide. Any of these should do the trick.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH FABINDIA VITAMIN E SUNSCREEN SPF-45

After knowing the importance of sunscreen I tried my hands on a few brands but my experience was not too good. Some were oily, and some dry, while some made me look like a white ghost. Finally i went to my favorite Fabindia’s store and found this. It has SPF 45 and vitamin E. It is a white cream that comes in a tube packaging with a flip top cap.

I have been using it like forever now and love it very much. It’s a must have for me. I use it in during every season; it’s that perfect cream with the right amount of everything. It’s neither oily nor dry, provides good protection, doesn’t break you out, vitamin e is good for the skin, which absorbs easily, and doesn’t feel heavy at all!

This can be used comfortably underneath the makeup.

TURN ON: FABINDIA VITAMIN E SUNSCREEN SPF-45

1) Light weight cream.

2) Can be used as a makeup base!

3) Didn’t break me out.

4) Perfect consistency.

5) Absorbs in the skin well and has good spread ability.

2) A little pricy product.
