It’s the time of the year we all look forward. With Diwali, commences the season of weddings. Nothing is as vibrant and colourful as our Indian Weddings; I just love the whole idea of dressing up for our Indian festivals/weddings.

The beauty of draping this six yard is that it flaunts what’s required and covers up flaws. I love wearing sarees and this time for a wedding I picked up this vibrant Sky blue georgette saree with a nice heavy Broad Black handmade border. Ethnic, yet chic.

Since I wanted to flaunt the saree (SARI), I kept my makeup minimal. I love drama on the eyes, hence the kajal n eyeliner along with a light lipstick. To complete the look I added black n golden bangles along with long dangling earrings.

The beauty of the outfit lies in the blouse, which is designed by a friend. She kept it simple by giving it a halter neck design using the same border price as the baseline of the blouse.

Overall it gave a complete Indian and Ethnic look, with a tinge of chic and style. This Diwali you too dress up in style! Pay attention to colours as with the bold and bright red colour,  shades like blue, pink, gold & purple are in too. You can dress up in simple outfit as well looking effortlessly good for meeting friends on this festival and for lavish diner parties!
Wish you all a very vibrant, prosperous and stylish Diwali.

Editor’s Note: Lovely tips ARUNIMA! Following these tips we will definitely be one of those ‘Fashionably Adventurous’ chics! I absolutely love the way you drape your sari and carry yourself in it!
