Aqua Embellished Midi Dress: Outfit Of The Day

This dress of mine is from Ranna Gill’s collection and I absolutely love it. It is so light weight and perfect fit. Also the color of the midi dress makes it a class apart. I have red, black and other usual color gowns and dresses, but this addition was like a breath of fresh air!

I am not a big fan of bodycon midi dresses but like dresses similar to this piece. It is actually a personal choice and one has to be very fit to be in a bodycon.

I want to throw some light on a very basic point & it is that the term “MIDI” is used for all types of dresses and skirts where the hem (of dress/skirt) hits halfway between the knee and ankle.

Mid calf length can be awkward for few and as I said it’s a personal choice altogether. Usually people wear very high heels and that’s the way it is popular but I wear it with kitten heels.

Always remember with high hem (meaning a finish of your dress just below the knee cap) wear short heels and with lower hem (meaning your dress is Mid calf length or longer) wear high heels.
