If you’re planning a trip to Dubai, you should definitely try to set aside some time to add Seychelles to you travel itinerary. Dubai is a short 4-and-a-half-hour flight away. There are plenty of great Dubai to Seychelles holiday packages to choose from that are sure to make your season plenty bright.

1. The Beaches

The beaches of Seychelles are absolutely amazing. These picturesque scenes are best taken in with the naked eye, because pictures cannot truly replicate their breathtaking views. The powdery white sand, the vibrant and crystal-clear turquoise water, and palm studded coast lines are unparalleled, and many of them untouched. Each beach is fabulously unique.

2. The Naughty Nut

Coco de Mer is a species of nut that has a very curious shape. Natives say it resembles a behind, while its flower is much more phallic looking. It is also the largest nut in the world, some weighing in at more than 50 pounds.

3. World-Class Fishing

There’s nothing like sitting on a boat floating on top of tropical waters and breezes, fishing pole in hand and sun in the sky. Seychelles allows recreational fishing without the need for a license, so anglers of any skill level can enjoy reeling in a few fish. Alphonse Island has some pretty great fishing spots.

4. The Rum

Yum, the rum. There’s nothing quite like locally distilled island rum. If you’d like a fun filled tasting and tour, check out Takamaka Rum Distillery on Mahe. There is also a highly acclaimed restaurant there. Don’t forget to check out the Seybrew and the palm wine.

5. Awesome Diving Sites

Seychelles has some awesome diving sites that put you up close and personal with some pretty amazing creatures. And if scuba diving isn’t for you, there’s also kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling. Some of the sea life you can look forward to seeing includes hawksbill and green turtles, rays and even various reef sharks.

6. Great Weather

The average temperature is warm and tropical, almost never dipping below 75 degrees Fahrenheit or 24 degrees Celsius. Whether you’re travelling to escape colder or wetter weather or just for some big fun in the sun, the weather will be quite lovely.

7. The Hiking Trails

The flora of these islands is a joy to behold. The lush and verdant green trails are a whole new world. From the exotic flowers and bushes to the towering trees and tropical fruits, there is so much more to see as you hike this island paradise. Each island has beautiful trails of varying difficulty, and Seychelles is dedicated to protecting its diverse wildlife.

Dubai is absolutely wonderful and beautiful, but if exploring a one of a kind tropical paradise is always on your to do list, don’t miss a great opportunity to see the Seychelles islands. They won’t disappoint. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, there’s more than enough to satisfy any world traveler.
