My Experience With Za True White Two-Way Foundation : 

The Za True White Two-Way Foundation comes in a refill and a case format, which is a money saver because you have to buy the case only for the first time and then you can purchase the refills, which retail only for Rs 550 bucks. You can also skip buying the case if you don’t carry your foundation and can maintain hygiene but I am sure after having a look at the stunning white and silver case with a descent sized mirror, you would want to buy it.

I love the case because the brand showed a very sweet gesture to imprint my name over it, so yes personalised stuff is always special !!!!! The mirror comes very handy to do touch ups ( well I am not someone so conscious about touchups and all… but you never know when that chicken from your sandwich decides to cling to your teeth!!! embarrassing eh??? ) talking more about the case, it has two compartments, one for the refill and another one for the sponge which is soft and dense enough to give a good application.

The Za True White Two-Way Foundation can be used in both wet and dry form. When used wet, it gives a very sheer coverage which is somewhere in between powder foundation and pressed powders whereas when applied wet it gives a medium coverage which can take care of some of the minor flaws on your face. It gives a matte finish both ways however, if you have oily skin, be prepared for tad bit of shine after some time if used in a dry state.

I like to apply it wet because that ways I find it quick and easy to blend, plus the coverage is better as I stated earlier and it stays for a longer time.

Let me just make it simpler and talk skin type wise.

Dry Skin : Stay away, as it is a matte foundation and will accentuate dry and flaky areas.

Normal Skin : Moisturise you skin very well and use the Za True White Two-Way Foundation ( dry or wet depending upon the coverage you prefer ) and use  a setting spray or a thermal water ( Mac ,Forest Essentials, Avene, Vichy, Fab India)over it so that it doesn’t look powdery or cakey.

Combination skin : Use the Za True White Two-Way Foundation in wet state and after around 5 hours when you find your T zone shining, just dab a little dry foundation with the sponge and you are good to go for another three hours.

Oily Skin : Use the Za True White Two-Way Foundation for oily skin in a wet form to stay matte for a longer time.

The foundation stays for a good 8 hours but the wear time also depends upon the climate, skin type and other factors. This foundation does not oxidise and also smooths the appearence of pores slightly. It gives a very radiant and natural finish and results are even better when used over a primer (Revlon, Colorbar, The Body Shop).Since its  a powder based foundation, its very lightweight and comfortable. A great purchase for hot and humid months.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”

The Za True White Two-Way Foundation is great for the price you pay for it,but the only problem I see with this foundation is the shade range. The darkest in the yellow tones is 22 which still looks a bit light for medium indian skin tones.
