Remember the body butter in my Sephora haul post? I started using the Sephora Lagoon Body Butter after The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea and now that I have eaten up the entire tub, here’s my review.

My Experience With The Sephora Lagoon Nourishing Body Butter

Hoping you know me, you know that I love my TBS Body Butters to bits. Let’s just say that this review would be more of a comparison between Sephora and Body Shop….Which one to go for if you have a dry skin.

Packaging wise I feel that the Sephora tubs look better than the Body shop ones, they have always caught my fancy but since I am never OOS with TBS Butters, I never bought these before, but one fine day I took the plunge just to try, maybe, they could be better.

The texture of Lagoon Body Butter is thick yet it absorbs into the skin and disappears within seconds. What I really like about this one is the fragrance, it’s really light, refreshing and does not stay on for a long time. The Body Shop ones have a strong fragrance (generally) most of which are appealing but they can sometimes interfere with the other fragrances that you wear. So if you face that problem or don’t like strong fragrances in general then this could be the one for you.

The Sephora Lagoon Body Butter does not leave any sticky residue behind and works well for dry/extremely dry skin. It nourishes and pamper the skin leaving it moisturised and velvety soft. Oh, and did I mention that it is paraben free.

If I talk about it individually then this is a really good product. I like everything about it, the texture, fragrance, the results and the tub looks pretty sitting on the dresser but if I compare it with The Body Shop Body Butters then they deliver the same results at a much better price (Roughly priced at Rs.1100/- for the same quantity and you usually get them well within Rs.1000/- on discounts).
