Hey Everyone,

Patanjali products are gaining popularity day by day, be it personal care or health care, there is some or the other person raving about and suggesting to use a Patanjali product because they are ayurvedic, natural, effective and all that jazz

I might be the last one to jump on the Patanjali bandwagon. Since there were a few review requests, I had to try them. The first product that I purchased was the protein conditioner. I used it with my Rene Furterier Shampoo and the result was quite impressive, so impressive that I went ahead and bought 4 shampoos together.

(This is not my recent purchase, I have been using these shampoos for over three months now, one after the other.)

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Hair Cleanser – For dry & rough hair

Price: Rs 95/- for 200ml
Key Ingredients: bhringraj, heena, basil, aloe vera, Neem
This one is the best for me amongst the 4 that I have tried. It is gentle, cleans the scalp effectively, a double rinse is required if you have applied a heavy hair oil or treatment in your hair. It makes hair really soft and frizz free and I love the results when followed by the same conditioner.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Natural Hair Cleanser – Reduces Hairfall, breakage, and dryness

Price: Rs 75/- for 200ml
Key Ingredients: Reetha, Amla, bhringraj, neem, basil, heena, turmeric, geloy, aloevera, and curcuma
This is my second choice out of the ones mentioned because it cleans the scalp effectively without drying or damaging my hair. The results are more of less similar to milk protein shampoo but I will still suggest the former because it feels a bit more gentle. It is important to use the right shampoos for the right problem. Patanjali Kesh Kanti Reetha Hair Cleanser – Removes oiliness & strengthens roots

Price: Rs 85/- for 200ml
Key Ingredients: Reetha
This shampoo manages to remove oil very effectively and cleans the scalp thoroughly but over a period of time, it made my hair extremely dry, frizzy and prone to breakage. This one was the last I used and my hair is in a high-maintenance mode now.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shikakai Hair Cleanser – Reduces Hairfall, Greying & Itchy Scalp

Price: Rs 95/- for 200ml
Key Ingredients: Shikakai, Bhringraj, hibiscus, walnut and sugarcane
Claims to reduce hair fall, although I will never rely on a shampoo to reduce hair fall because there are many factors that need to be considered while treating this problem but by using this shampoo, I started losing an alarming quantity of hair. Initial 4-5 washes were fine but after that, I experienced an unusual hair fall. It was due to this shampoo because the problem stopped immediately after discontinuing it.

“Info On A Silver Platter”
Patanjali Shampoos are very average according to me. I don’t see much of results after using them, I expected more from an ayurvedic product. These were mere cleansers, some good, some bad. I am not going to repurchase them, and if you feel that this is a natural product then let me tell you NO, it does contain natural and ayurvedic ingredients but also has a surfactant base, and in a good quantity I assume, because they lather so much that I see foam flooding my shower area. I have never used shampoos that lather so much.
