Maybelline is one of the biggest drugstore brand which has a great impact on Indian beauty Market. Well, Not only India but Maybelline products are famous abroad too. They are cheaper as compared to other drugstore brands but have great quality. From school/College students, house wives/mothers to grandmothers 😛 everyone loves Maybelline products. My first product from Maybelline was Colossal Kajal and its still remains on my love list! Today I will review on Maybelline Lip Polish GLAM -6. ( Glam 7 Reviewed HERE)

My Experience With Maybelline’s Lip Polish

Maybelline’s Lip Polish by Color Sensational comes with wide range of colours starting from nude to MLBB and  Hot Vivid shades. Glam-6 is deep plum.

It is medium dark shade which looks more or less like deep mauvish plum. A very beautiful, bold and gorgeous shade one must have. Maybelline defines it as a 3-in-1 potion which harnesses the best qualities of a balm, lipstick and lip gloss gives a soft cushiony feel to the lips. They are moisturizing liquid conditioning balm that features a built-in glossy top-coat and make lips look fuller. Its highly pigmented that provides deep intense color. True to its claims, they are superbly shiny and glossy which gives an illusion of glossy fuller lips. I like Glam-6 for its intense and strong pigmentation which is more of an attention grabber 😀

I like layering up till I get my desired shade on lips. Not that it’s compulsory but it’s just me. I have layered around 4 times in this pics below to get my desired shade :D. These are buttery smooth but have a weird texture if I say; one layer is not enough to show off full colour intensity. You need couples of layering. They are non sticky and thick in texture. Once you keep layering on, you will get those neither cushiony soft feelings which do not budge nor smudges from lip lines. It keeps your lips soft and moisturizing through out the day. It comes with a specially designed leaf-shaped applicator for quick, precise application. These are neither lipsticks, balms nor glosses. They are potent colour extracts, moisturize and soften lips hence, give you shiny, glossy and sexy fuller lips.

How To Apply- Apply lipcolor with applicator wand starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.

9)    They are very shiny and super glossy which gives an illusion of glossy fuller lips. Long lasting, it nourishes and moisturizes the lips and makes them look fuller and luscious.

2) Most of the shades in this range are nudes or MLBBs. It’s okay not a big con but just thought to say what’s on my mind.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- By this time I am sure most of you already have tried Maybelline lip polishes…And those who haven’t, run to your nearest shop or order online. They have widest shades available. Appropriate for daily wear, school, colleges, office etc. very nice buttery smooth formula that keeps your lips hydrated!
