Today I want to introduce you to something new and quite different from my MACoholic fantasy. Put your hands together for – “Lancome CORSET” from the Color Design Collection. I am literally obsessed about this shade nowadays and it has become my Go-to-shade.

Lancôme is one of the most prestigious high end luxury brands targeting towards skincare and cosmetics. Seeing the price tag I could not resist myself from placing the order with “Royalicious”. Shikha, the girl who helped me is very sweet & kind and answers all of my queries. After checking online swatches, I was sure about the shade. I received my order in just 7 days. Very prompt service!!

My Experience with Lancome Corset color design lipstick (Matte)

Lancome Corset color design lipstick (Matte) is a coral pink shade lipstick with warm undertones. Corset was launched in 2010 with Lancôme Mix and Match Collection. Therefore this shade is a Limited Edition. It is currently available at Lancôme’s official website though.

The formula as you can see is “Matte” but not like MAC’s Matte Lipstick Ruby Woo. It is a Matte but in a good way- more like a creamy matte! It does set as matte finish but it feels extremely light weight and creamy. My lips do not feel dry and dehydrated at all. Even though I don’t put any lip balm underneath, it does not clinch at all. To be honest, I am totally in love with the texture and the shade. It’s a  perfect combo for matte lipstick shades. This is one of the lightest matte lipstick formulas I have tried so far. An emollient ingredient makes it glide on the lips smoothly in just a simple swipe. No tugging or pulling. My lips feel luxurious and moisturized the whole day. It is a long wearing lipstick that even fades beautifully 🙂

Ingredients like TITANIUM DIOXIDE prevent the absorption of ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun; therefore it has SPF factors which help in sun protection. Very Nice! I am impressed!

“Corset” is a beautiful pinkish-coral shade with medium to opaque formula. Shade is buildable and sets as Matte finish. It is a perfect combination for daily use and I keep this lipstick in my bag always. It can brighten up my face and mood 😀 I am a happy lipstick lover  ^_^ :D.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”– If you want a matte lipstick which is light weight and does not dry out your lips then you must try Lancôme’s matte lipsticks. They have almost 40-45 different shades to choose from! I love how Corset looks on me. It’s a very nice everyday kind of shade. I can wear this everyday. Definitely would like to buy again. 🙂
