I love matte lip formulas but hate the ones that suck the moisture out of your lips making them feel parched and lifeless. The L.A. Girl Matte Flat Velvet lipsticks claim to give a comfortable matte finish without drying the lips due to the presence of shea butter in them. I was more than curious to try at least one of these and test the formula. I am in a neutral lip color phase at the moment, so I ordered a nude shade for myself.

My Experience With The L.A Girl – Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick Snuggle
The packaging is very simple. A slim black tube with a color coded end to locate the shade. These lipsticks have a yummy vanilla scent, exactly same as the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. The texture is very smooth and they glide easily on the lips. If you don’t have very dry or chapped lips then you can even skip the lip balm but don’t forget to exfoliate because after a few hours the lipstick starts clinging to the dead skin, thus highlighting it. The pigmentation is superb and one or two passes are enough to give an opaque finish, depending on the shade.
Like the name suggests, it offers a Matte velvet finish which looks gorgeous and lasts for over 5 hours with very slight transfer. The shade Snuggle is a Rosy brown nude color. It’s quite an everyday shade and a perfect mlbb for me.

If you are a matte lipstick fanatic and looking out for a comfortable and affordable matte lipstick then L.A Girl Matte Flat lipsticks will make for a perfect choice. Snuggle is a great everyday mlbb lipstick that will suit all complexions, however, there are a whole lot of shades to choose from. I will highly recommend trying at least one from this range because the texture of these matte lipsticks will make you fall in love with them.
