Its all about Blue this Summer….!!! A Sneak Peek Into My Summer Wardrobe

It will sound very clichéd, when I will say that I was never a jumpsuit person, because I’m sure you ladies will not agree after looking at the pictures. But honestly I was never excited about sporting long jumpsuits, because I’m not too tall and my body frame is also not so lean or lanky. I had this apprehension, that jumpsuits would make me look too short and stout, till I saw this beautiful jumpsuit displayed at a store in Yashow Market.

Yes ladies, I have stopped going to the malls in Beijing. My regular shopping destinations in Beijing are the local markets and I have been really lucky and fortunate so far with some great quality stuff at steal deal prices.

My uncle was around in town last month and we were out shopping at Yashow Market and it’s simply impossible for me to return from any market visit without buying anything for myself…yes I honestly admit to being a shopaholic in Beijing because the markets here are fabulous and somehow I have the eye for details to shop here.

Whilst I was browsing the stores for a dress for my cousin, my eyes fell on this beautiful Blue Jumpsuit. First it appeared to be a long dress, but when I checked it up close I realized it is a jumpsuit and somehow I had this sinking feeling of losing out on another beautiful outfit just because it is a jumpsuit. But then I thought, why not just give it a try? I was so much in love with the color that I decided to purchase and bargained like a pro to get the dress for just 60 Yuan (approximately Rs 600). I was so happy with the bargain that I didn’t care how I will look in the jumpsuit lol.

Here’s how I looked while sporting the jumpsuit for a Dinner & Night out with friends.

FASHION TIPS- This pretty blue wide leg jumpsuit falls perfectly in the category of casual evening wear and fun night outs. It’s so comfortable, yet elegant and sexy in its own unique way. Dazzle it up with some fashionable earrings and high heels and it’s the prefect outfit for your clubbing nights. It’s a perfect lounge wear for your casual dinner dates, just alternate the high heels with some comfortable pumps or peep toes to make it more comfortable.

I love the simple neckline and hence kept it plain without adding any neck accessory. It was a casual night out so didn’t want to dazzle up.

Yes the beautiful surprise is the black sheer back, gives it a very funky look and feel. Hence, I teamed the outfit with my black high heel peep toes and black danglers. Just the perfect combo of Black & Blue 🙂

OUTFIT BREAKUP:-

Blue Jumpsuit:- Purchased off the rack from Yashow Market for 60 Yuan (approximately Rs 600)

Black Heels:- Carlton London purchased for Rs 2499/- in India

Black Danglers:- Purchased long time back from Sarojini Nagar Market in Delhi. Don’t remember the time as it was really long time ago.

Make-up:- I’m very lousy with my make-up skills, the maximum I’m capable of doing is my basic kajal, eyeliner and lipstick. And that’s it…!!! I know my friends Shivi n Garima who are experts at make-up will be totally disappointed to hear this lol 😉

So that’s the story about my pretty blue jumpsuit…my first out-fit for the summers and yes there’s more fun stuff coming up, coz summers have just started and knowing that it’s Beijing it’s going to get insane and crazy.
