How to tackle oily acne prone sensitive skin has been my basic concern all my life (phew). Though I was a tomboy during my school days, I never did anything girlish.

Except, that every day I stood in front of my mirror asking god why me? Why can’t I have a glowing clear skin?( lol)

And, this is not all… I did ask for other things as well, like why am I so sleepy during the preparation of my exams, what’s the purpose of the subject like mathematics etc. After all these are the concerns of most teenagers! Isn’t it?

Oh gosh still I miss my teenage and school days so much!!! Anyways coming back to the topic here you will find an amazing way to take care of extra oil and acne.

INGREDIENTS

1)    A small bunch of basil leaves (consisting about 20- 30 basil leaves)

2)    1 teaspoon of Organic yogurt (plain curd will work too)

3)    Distilled water or rose water

4)    Mortar and pestle

How to use it–   As a mask– Crush the basil leaves by using your mortar and pestle. Add the required amount of yogurt so that it becomes like a paste which is neither too thin nor too thick. Then apply this paste to the face and leave for  twenty minutes. Rinse with water.

INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- Considered as the king of herbs, basil is known for its medicinal properties. Chewing the basil leaf purifies blood and therefore eradicates acne. My mom used to apply such paste during summers when we suffered from small red bumps on our back…This really works!

Also- Boil the water with the basil leaves and gargle in case of sore throat. To get rid of stress chew few basil leaves everyday!
