1)    An Epilator: Epilators are the most preferred methods of hair removal apart from waxing because they also remove the hair from the root and not just from the shaft thereby giving you a smooth hair free skin for at least 2 weeks.

I have The Braun Silk Epil and I totally love it. Trust me it’s a myth that using an epilator gives you ingrown hair or coarse hair….. I don’t buy that point…if you are prone to ingrown hair then you will have them even with waxing so it completely depends.

Usage:

Best way to use an epilator is to first take a hot shower and scrub your skin, this process will make your hair softer and scrubbing will pull out the hair under the dead skin surface. Now use the epilator in the direction opposite to hair growth. The multiple tweezers in the epilator work continuously to pull the hair from their roots. Post epilation use an astringent or a toner on the skin followed by a moisturizer.

This process is a little painful just like waxing but the results are amazing that too sitting at home.

I totally recommend an epilator as a must have gadget because it is your bff…..I tell you why ….waxing can be done only when you have achieved a particular length of hair but what if you have to flaunt those legs or wear that sleeve less top in between two waxing sessions where you have hair but not long enough to be waxed. If you have an epilator you can go hair free in a couple of minutes because an epilator pulls out even the shortest of hair.

If you want to tame that frizz then just run the iron lightly on your hair like a hair brush and you will see frizz settling down, now follow up with a shine perfecting serum and you are done!!!!!!!

If you want straight hair then use a heat protector on your hair, divide the hair in multiple sections and taking one section at a time straighten them out.

If you want natural curls then divide your hair in sections and treating one section at a time curl them and yes you can do this with the same flat iron. Instead of pulling the iron straight downwards, just keep on rotating the iron and come downwards and you will see beautiful curls, just set them with a styling spray or gel so that they stay in place for a long time.
